Cast rotary retort
The cast retort with spirals, are produced by static casting method.
DTL has many years experience with producing this kind of spiral retort, quality will be guarantee top and last longer life.
Muffles and retorts up to 47.2″ (1200 mm) O.D. can be produced using the centrifugally cast process.
For larger diameters, we may use the static cast process or we may fabricate using rolled and welded alloy plates.
Typical applications include:
Round muffles with or without internal static cast spirals
“D”-section muffles for sintering of metal pressed powders
Muffles for metal ores reduction
Muffles for the heat treatment of small metal parts
Retorts for gas generators for controlled atmosphere furnaces
