Galvanizing pot rolls
DTL Materials Tech GmbH produces sink rolls and stabilizer rolls for galvanizing pots of continuous galvanizing lines .
The sink rolls are used in the zinc pot system of the galvanizing line and coating line, the sink rolls, stabilizer rolls, and arms are put to duty completely submerged in the molten metal bath equipment.
DTL Materials Tech GmbH has the capacity and expertise to produce sink rolls up to 800mm diameter with profile and desired wall thickness for facilitating multiple cuts to guarantee prolonged service, our typical sizes of sink rolls are :
outer diameter 800mm, outer diameter650mm, outer diameter600mm,outer diameter510mm, outer diameter460mmm,outer diameter380mm, etc.,
The typical alloys we select for sink rolls are ASTM A351 CF3M , 1.4404.
The sink roll is a passive roll in the zinc pot. The role of the sink roll is to raise the strip steel in the zinc pot.
The inner steering and ensure the stable operation of the strip. The sink roll is a device in which the strip enters the zinc liquid in the zinc pot through the snout for galvanizing,
bypasses the sink roll and exits the zinc pot, and then enters the alloying furnace or cooling stage through the stabilizing roll and air knife.
The sink roller is always immersed in the molten of high-temperature aluminum-zinc liquid. It does not have any transmission mechanism. It is a passive steering roller, driven by the friction between the strip and the roller surface, and plays the role of tensioning the strip.
